Branding your product is essential for success.  It is what differentiates you from others in the marketplace. Your brand imparts a feeling, not only about your product itself, but your company culture.  With the advent of sites like Etsy, Pinterest, Ravelry and Knitty (not to mention social media: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc), we see so many talented people putting unique products into both e-tail and retail.  From clothing to pet products, hair & fashion accessories, baby and child wear, there is an endless amount of  creative products and niches.
After much effort, you have developed a name, a certain look, a personality behind your goods and your company. You have set up an online shop, an Esty store, or a bricks and mortar storefront.  Be sure your products reflect the image you have created by using a  label.  We offer very affordable, fully customizable labels. Once you receive your invitation, you create an account and then prepare to become obsessed!  Create boards for crafts, recipes, fashion, travel, decor, or any other interests.  You may “repin” (posting a photo you see on someone else’s board) onto your boards, or “pin” straight from images you come across while online.  Feel free to pin photos taken yourself, too.  They have easy tutorials that offer help along the way.

Much like Twitter and Facebook, Pinterest allows “following”.  This feature allows you to find “pinners” whose boards or images are ones that you like.  Likewise, people can follow your boards and pins.  Pinterest is perfect way to keep images, ideas, and creative inspiration organized.

 We made a custom header by uploading a photo of Caroline-the-Valentine onto cardstock and adding some cute graphics.

 Caroline selected the candy she would share with her friends, and filled the cello bags herself.

The final step was adding our “With Love” personalized round stickers.  We have dozens of personalized sticker options, for Valentine’s Day or any other occasion.

This fun family project makes giving as much fun as receiving.

Did you know that today is National Brownie Day? (or that there even was such a thing?)
Take some time to relax and enjoy a rich, gooey brownie in honor of the occasion. Sources say that brownies originated in New England during the early twentieth century, but there are many variations to the tale.

One story says that a Boston chef mistakenly added melted chocolate to a batch of biscuits, thus creating the first brownies.  Another version claims that a housewife in Bangor, Maine was making a chocolate cake but forgot to add baking powder. The cake did not rise properly and, instead of throwing it out, she served it in flat pieces.

Putting together a fun-filled and great-looking birthday party doesn’t need to be stressful.  This 8th birthday party was a simple as choosing the birthday girl’s favorite food (ice-cream),  favorite activity (t-shirt designing), and letting the decorations and favors tie the whole look and theme together. 

The garage was transformed into Sweet Caroline’s Ice Cream Shop.  By putting all of the tasty toppings and treat into unusual canisters and adorning them with customized ribbon, a unified, coordinated look was achieved.

 After scooping up their sundaes and piling on the toppings, the girls headed over to the t-shirt creation station, where they crafted one-of-a-kind tees with ice cream designs.  Each shirt had an iron-on label (ice-cream design, of course!)  thanking the celebrants for attending. 

    How sweet!

Everywhere we look, trends are leaning toward the 1960′s. 

TV shows and movies like Mad Men, the upcoming Pan Am, and The Help are reminders of the clothing and the vibe of that time.   In weddings, structured, ladylike dresses like a-lines make a  huge comeback.  Flowers are simple yet strong.  As always, details play a starring role.  We have many options in terms of favor packaging and decor that work well with these color and design trends.
